A division of Hasbro, Hasbro Gaming controls production of Hasbro’s game properties. Hasbro acquired two game companies, Milton Bradley and Parker Brothers, in 1984 and 1991, respectively. Milton Bradley and Parker Brothers were consolidated in 1998, forming Hasbro Gaming. Games from both brands were still marketed under their respective brand names until 2009, when the names were dropped in favor of using the Hasbro brand. Hasbro is currently the largest producer of board games worldwide.
