Transformers

Transformers is a toy and media franchise produced by Hasbro and Japanese toy company Takara Tomy. The subject of the franchise is the storyline of a group of sentient robots that can transform into other forms, including vehicles and robots. The toy line was released in 1984, using transforming toys from other Takara lines rebranded for Western release. Films, TV shows, comics, and other media have all been produced in conjunction with the toy line. This line is still in production today.
