General Summary of Purpose:
The MindWare Customer Service Representative assists the best customers in an efficient, professional manner, ensuring outstanding customer service and satisfaction with an emphasis on sales. Works with the MindWare sales team to assist with commercial customers via telephone or in person to assist them in sales or event promotions and to advance their expanded use of MindWare product lines. May attend trade shows to market merchandise, develop new customer relationships and cultivate existing relationships.
Assists the sales team in maximizing customer business and profitability.
Establishes an ongoing relationship with existing customers in order to assess customer product needs and expand the purchase of merchandise.
Makes outbound calls with existing and new customers to establish their marketing needs.
Enter incoming orders daily.
Understand exporting documentation and manage the process for international orders.
Assists customers in the resolution of problems, ensuring customer satisfaction.
Ensures that individual orders are correctly filled to the customer’s satisfaction.
Becomes familiar with product at a level which one can make product suggestions and replacements i.e. upsell.
Provide service to customer in a courteous, efficient manner with regard to account inquires comments, concerns and placement of orders.
Offer customer-focused solutions supported by facts, knowledge and experience.
Take ownership for escalating issues in a timely manner to ensure customer needs are addressed.
Assist customers with issues including, but not limited to mail, credits, refunds, merchandise certificates (expired or not), expired prices, promotions, invoices, new accounts, call tags, meter station comments, miscellaneous billing, and reships.
Prove personalized customer service of the highest level and maintain all customer information confidential.
Display professionalism with customers, peers and management.
Investigate customer inquiries or order issues and complete related documentation.
Maintains regular and predictable attendance.
Abides by all policies and procedures of MindWare and Oriental Trading Company.
Must be able to attend face to face meetings on short or little advance notice.
Work in the MindWare Department office environment requires in-person collaboration among colleagues and contractors.
