New York Toy Fair 2025 was spectacular and it would be remiss of me if I did not take the time to describe how magnificent it was. It is always fun seeing the current and future trends and seeing how the toy world is evolving. I have created an A to Z Summary of the Greatness of Toy Fair 2025. The first thing I noticed was the strong hold of Japanese companies. Japanese characters are very popular and companies are being created in order to support the love of Japanese characters. One of my very first interactions was with the ULTRA TOKYO CONNECTION.

The Ultra Tokyo Connection makes a variety of figurines, and plushies, such as TAITO,FURYU,SEGA.
The Toy Fair is like opening a box of Cracker Jacks- you never know what you are going to see and what will surprise you. Let me highlight some of the areas/booths which caught my attention, apart from Ultra Tokyo Connection:
a.I ran into David Vonner, who is such a great man in the world of toys. Running into him was both a shock and an honor! If you know, you know 😊
b.Party is in the Kitchen: this is a party game. Based on my understanding, when you go to a dinner party, you ask people to bring food items. Based on the game, there are winners and losers. At the end of the day, someone has to cook a meal based on all of the items which were brought. So, you better make sure you invite good cooks when you plan on playing this game.
c.Doodle Face: there is nothing I love more than toys which do not require electricity or batteries. Doodle Face is BRAND NEW and it is basically a dry erase board, in various shapes, which has a stand. You can draw on a dry-erase board shaped like a tree and have it standing on your table, or in your bathroom or your bedroom. With this toy, you can draw over and over again.

d.Sensee: this is a South Korean company which makes coloring books for the BLIND ! This was absolutely spectacular.Their booth was unassuming, but their product was one of a kind. The coloring book has braile on it. Apart from the braille, the book also has raised outlines, meaning that if you are coloring one section, you can NOT easily color the next section, due to the raised outline. This was such an innovative and unique design at Toy Fair.

e.Bolder Play: did you know you can buy slides, place them over your staircase, and slide down your stairs? Again, another dream come true… no more using plastic trash bags to slide down steps.
f.Woblong: I saw this in passing but it looks cool- it’s like a frisbee and an aerodynamic shape, all in one. Looks fun to play with.
g.Yu-Gi-Oh! (Konami) is celebrating 25 years and they have a lot of great things in store to celebrate this critical event, celebrating 25 years.
h.Bob Ross Inc: I ran into the Boss Ross team. They were so kind and lovely, so kind that I went back and participated in their first painting class. Yes, I was among the 4 people painting the mountain landscape. I have NEVER painted in my life, but based on my final art piece, you would think that Bob Ross was my long-lost father. This painting class was SPECTACULAR- and it occurred during the Toy Fair during the Master Set Session. I’ll show you my masterpiece later.
i.Mochibi: they make super soft and comfortable plush toys.
j.Let’s Be Onyx (LBO): this is a toy company based in Philadelphia. They make a range of collectibles where they have original ideas as well as deal with current licenses, like DJ Lance Rock. They also deal with original creations from hip hop.

k. Party Animal: This is a company which makes squishy athletes. You can get squishy figurines and balls and helmets from the NFL, NBA, and even the NHL. They were small and squishy, the perfect combination 😊
l.Kids Embrace: This is the company which makes personalized car seats for children. They have been selling since 2011. Amazon is their main channel. Imagine being a kid and being able to have a car seat which resembles Tatiana or Batman? I would never want to leave the car if I had an incredible looking car seat like that. I want a car seat for myself!!

m.Otaku: This company does engravings. Otaku means “nerd”. They make figurine-lamps which change colors, and they also make stickers, keychains, etchings on glass, and more.
n.Atlantis Models: if you are into creating Hobby Kits, there is ATLANTIS. I don’t know what was more exciting- the hobby kits or their business cards.

😊
o. Mirana: India’s Smart Learning Toy: their toys were neat because you could control the remote control cars with your smart phone. They had many innovative games as well.
p.Sun-Staches: this company has come a long way. I remember when they were simply sunglasses with mustaches. Now they are a whole line of sunglasses that have been licensed out- various characters from Peppa Pig to Sesame Street and more.
q.Shadow Pop: Shadow pop makes display cases out of wooden/cardboard boxes. The concept is simple and the boxes are really sturdy but you can add a glass-like shelf to it. You can store comic books, toys, etc. Anyone who has anything important to store and display should look into Shadow Pop.
r.Humm Buggs: This is exactly what the name infers—bugs that hum—how cute!! These are bugs which hum lullabies. Can you imagine falling asleep with a humming bug? This is a great idea, the buggs look amazing (there is a variety of them). I think many young children would enjoy this toy, as well as adults because it is comforting and cute 😊
s. Original Gourmet Lollipops: this is a candy brand we see EVERYWHERE—they are everywhere. The representative did a wonderful job explaining the origin of the Original Gourmet Lollipops and the various items they had. They had everything from lollipops to gummies to rings that could light up. Personally, the Snoopy and Barbie gummies were sooo delicious.
t.Toyster’s – they make a variety of toys, many wooden toys.
u.Insect Lore : This toy is an innovative bug toy. They sell live insects and you watch them grown in an environment they have created for the buyer. This is a unique toy, which I know would be loved by kids who love bugs!

v.Pony Cycle: Think bicycle but Ponycycle. I swear, when I’m at Toy Fair, sometimes I don’t think straight. Why did I think it was a good idea for me to get on top of Pony Cycle and ride it down the hall? Momma mia!! You had to go up and down on the pedals to make it move. It was interesting. I tell you what—if your kid is asking for a pony, buy them a Pony Cycle.

w. Scentos: Who doesn’t love Scentos?!?!? Why didn’t anyone tell me that SCENTOS makes makeup?? Did you know Scentos makes makeup?? YES! Finally, another dream has come true!! Scentos makes wonderful products and they have many new products coming out this year. When you see them, expect the best because Scentos never disappoints, ever.
x.Moose Toys- a woman by the name of Athena showed me their newest product=-Gui Gui—I love it-I love how the different slimes feel. This is like beauty slime, fancy slime, you can call it so many things, but I love it!
y.American Paper Optics: They make paper sunglasses but they are unique because they put images in the “glass”. When you look at certain lights, you can see the image, whether it’s a snowman, a gingerbread man, a Christmas tree, anything. They made glasses for the Solar Eclipse, they have made glasses for certain concerts for popular entertainers and more. This is a company everyone should be aware of, especially toy companies when they are having massive events.

z.Goliath: I did not get to see all the great toys that Goliath has to offer, because quite frankly it was more fun speaking to the people at the desk. The Goliath team was filled with so much passion and fun.
** Fred and Friends: what can I say about Fred and Friends? Did you see all of the new products they are producing? The sponges, the food clips, the baby pacifiers? Its endless. Fred and Friends makes unique household and office items which always put a smile on my face. The people working for Fred and Friends are just as lovely as the designs and products.
How come no one was dancing under the huge Rubik's cube? There was music, a huge Rubik's diamond disco ball, and a dance floor—but no one was dancing? Why not? Next time, let’s all dance and exude our happiness about being at Toy Fair.
