Press Release

Glen Ellyn, IL – May 15th: I shipped my pants?…. Pocket jerky?…. Man glitter? These are just a few of the random a$$ phrases you’ll be hearing slipped into conversations as Gray Matters launches their new hit party game, Slip It In! More than a game, it's a social experience that can be played anytime, anywhere and transforms boring chitchat into hilarious quests to insert random phrases into conversations. It’s the perfect game for nights out with friends, dinner parties and weekend getaways!

"This game is right on trend as people look for fun and flexible ways to connect again" said Joe Barron, co-founder of Gray Matters Games. “Coming out of the pandemic, consumers are focusing again on experiences - this game can be played right along those experiences, sparking hilarity with family and friends!”

Slip It In is a wonderful collaboration between Gray Matters Games and SIO Games, three inventors from La Grange, IL, who originally entered the concept into a game design contest in 2019. Gray Matters brought on comedic geniuses and tabletop game influencers, Grant Lyon and Danielle Standring, to elevate the content’s laugh factor! The exceptional art design was created together with Anchor Creative and Alena Lyons & Sophia Ricciardi from the GMG team.

The game will launch in over 2,500 stores this year, including a major US retailer, and at hundreds of independent toy & game stores. Slip It In will also take centerstage at Gen Con this August as Gray Matters will be a featured exhibitor in the show’s Entrepreneur Avenue. The game is now available on Amazon and on the Gray Matters Games Website. Hobby and Specialty retailers can visit our Retailer Resource Page to learn about ordering through our distribution partner, Asmodee, and our sales rep groups.
