Mark your calendars to make a difference: Attend The Toy Foundation’s “Party with a Purpose” and be a part of an industry-wide movement to bring the joy of play to hospitalized children across the country. Tickets are available now!
Taking place Monday, September 9 at TAO Los Angeles during The Toy Association’s LA Fall Preview market week (Sept. 9-13), “Party with a Purpose” will feature an exclusive performance by Blues Traveler, in addition to key networking opportunities, an auction of unique experiences and items, and delicious food and drink, making for an unforgettable evening.
All proceeds from “Party with a Purpose” will directly support hospitalized children and their families, especially those living in economically disadvantaged communities, through TTF’s Children’s Hospital Play Grants Program. By the end of 2024, the program is expected to deliver the healing power of play to more than 500,000 pediatric patients. As the industry’s 501(c)(3) charitable nonprofit, your ticket purchases, sponsorships, and participation in the event’s auction are tax deductible.
“Play is a vital component to improve pediatric patient care and health outcomes, and we need the industry’s support to bring much-needed play resources into more children’s hospitals to reach as many young patients as possible in their healthcare journey,” said Pamela Mastrota, executive director of The Toy Foundation. “We look forward to seeing you on September 9th!”
Toy industry professionals are encouraged to support this important cause by purchasing tickets, serving as a sponsor, or donating an auction item for “Party with a Purpose.” Learn more about the Children’s Hospital Program — and how your support will have a direct impact on children and families — from Maimonides Health, a TTF hospital grant recipient.
The Toy Association’s LA Fall Preview is taking place throughout the month of September at 2250 East Imperial Highway in El Segundo. “Party with a Purpose” will kick off the LA Fall Preview dedicated market week, taking place September 9 to 13. The entire toy community is also invited to The Toy Association’s complimentary Industry Networking Party, sponsored by Circana (Platinum Sponsor), at Otis College of Art and Design on Tuesday, September 10 and WiT’s Wonder Women Awards at the Beverly Hilton on Friday, September 13. Visit the LA Fall Preview website for more information.
