Mr. Hocherman is a three-time entrepreneur turned toy industry executive. Today he is co-founder of Wayfarer Games

Previously, in his role as SVP Product Development & Innovation at Fat Brain Toys, Adam spearheaded the company’s inventor relations, leads the product development team, and played a key role in the organization’s leadership.

Prior to Fat Brain, Hocherman spent five years as an executive with PlayMonster. Prior to that he built and sold two consumer products companies, both to the toy and game industry. He holds a BS in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering (Automotive Design concentration) and an MBA, both from Cornell University.

Outside of his professional life, Mr. Hocherman authored and taught a graduate-level business class at the Van Loan Graduate School at Endicott College. He is also a founding venture partner at NextGen Venture Partners in Boston, MA and enjoys advising (and/or being advised by!) budding and/or seasoned entrepreneurs.

In his spare time he enjoys playing and designing games, teaching his two daughters about the same, coaching softball, reading, tinkering and spending time with his family.
