<h1>A story of sharing creativity</h1> <p>All my life I have been passionate about being creative and about learning.<br /> <br /> As a kid I put on magic shows, drew cartoons, invented and built robots. I taught kids to draw and wired our apple iic computer to our VCR (I think it was a BETA player - don&rsquo;t ask). Later, I dabbled with stage hypnosis, light and sound mind machines (sits in my closet) and experienced isolation float tanks - all in the search for tapping into creativity. I was obsessed with inventing, exploring my creativity and the learning from others (I enjoy attending conferences likes the New York Toy show, Licensing Expo and one day the People of Play conference).<br /> <br /> I enjoy being an innovative thinker, an illustrative designer and have spent over twenty five years in the advertising and design industry. My love of being creative and learning continues to grow and I am a professor at Fanshawe College in Ontario, Canada.</p> <p>Teaching has allowed me to share my passion and obsessions with my students and I have incorporated my love of game design with my third year design students.<br /> <br /> One group project I have students work in groups of 4 students and design a sales promotions game. We play board games, learn game mechanics and then develop games to help promote businesses.<br /> <br /> I also have my own brand of creativity that helps kids - and I have spent the last 10 years exploring and sharing my creations.<br /> <br /> Walter Sayers<br /> creator. life-long learner</p>
