Exotic Zoo: dice-rolling battle game for ages 8+
How to Win: Be the first player to capture the world's top 10 deadliest animals for their zoo! Animals must be placed in the zoo in correct sequence, from 1-10.
Components: 4 zoo mats, 50 animal cards, 5 10-sided dice, 4 battle dice,
Set-Up: Each player chooses their zoo habitat, which also has special powers. The animal cards are shuffled and six are placed face up in the middle of the table to act as the "wild." The rest of the animal cards are placed in a pile face-down next to them.
On Your Turn: Choose one of two actions: 1) Roll to capture animals from the wild. If they are captured, they are placed into a "cage" area next to the zoo mat. 2) Battle another player to steal one of their caged animals. If a player captures a #1 animal, they can start placing them in their zoo. They must then add captured animals to their zoo in order, from 1-10, with only one card of each animal. Until the animals can be placed into the zoo, they must remain in the "cage" area where they can potentially be stolen. Animals cannot be stolen once they are placed into the zoo.
End of Game: One player places the 10th, final animal into their zoo. They win!
